MALLARDS We could hardly believe our eyes when we awoke on , of all days, April 1, 1998, and looked out at the pond to see the ripples being made by a pair of Mallards!


They stayed ~ half an hr. before our activities in the kitchen scared them off. The pond was no worse for the visit, and we felt we viewed an enchanted moment.
