These male Ringed Emeralds, Somatochlora albicincta were caught as they emerged at Gumboot Lake, ~12 miles SW of Lake Siskiyou, Mt. Shasta City (~6600 ft) on June 10, 2001. Then they were allowed to mature a bit before scanning on June 14th.
