These are scans of the male Red Saddlebags caught at the reservoir along Chileno Valley Road that bisects Marin/Sonoma Counties near Petaluma. It was caught by Rod Miller on June 22, 2001, and is the voucher specimen for Marin county. This was the last day of a long hot spell and Red Saddlebags were being recorded for the first time ever in these northern locations.
