These female Black Petaltails, Tanypteryx hageni were
caught at Gumboot Lake up above Lake Siskiyou at ~6,600 ft, Siskiyou County, on
July 6, 2001.
Here are a top and side scan of each. Please note the difference in size
between the 2 individuals caught on the same day at the same small lake:
